What's New At HotSermons?

HotSermons is a work in progress, and I want to try and keep you up-to-date with what's new, so that you don't drive yourself nuts looking for it.

I want your experience with us to be as pleasant as possible, so I'm going to make it easy for you find anything I've added recently.

What's Available?

HotSermons is getting regular traffic from over 180 countries around the world. That's great. I'm glad that there are so many people able to access it's resources. Here's what's available so far.

Topical Sermon Outlines - Series, Topical Sermon Outlines, Gospel Sermon Outlines, and Expository Sermon Outlines.

The Sermon Illustrations section is now complete. Yup, that means you can illustrate any of your sermons, provided your points don't start with Q or X! Not that I've ever heard a sermon on xylophones anyway.

Small Church Support. Most churches around the world are small and under-resourced. And the resources that are available to them are often too expensive to be of value. This section contains lots of things that I think you ought to know if you're in a small church.

Leadership Studies. This is all about leadership training. The first three modules are free. And if you like them, you can make an investment in your leadership ability or the abilities of other leaders in your church, by purchasing the other modules. That is, when I've completed them. It all takes time!

The For Men Only section is, as the title suggests geared for ministry to men. It's in here to help men become the best they can be. If you're a woman, you can read it too. We haven't set it up so that your computer will disintegrate when a woman accesses this section. Not yet, anyway.

Daily Bible Reading Planner. At this stage, this section contains a 52-week Bible Reading Planner. Each month has four levels, and there are two kinds of PDFs you can download. One is for personal use, and the other is for churches.

Communion Messages. Most of these were prepared by my awesome wife, Alli. She has a real gifting for taking an age-old message, and approaching it from a new angle.

Bible Studies. These have now been transferred to HotBibleStudies.Com. Again, they are free and can be downloaded as PDFs.

Recommended Reading. So far it's only Reference Works, but we'll be adding more.

Recommended Websites. Apart from HotSermons.Com, there are other great websites out there worth checking out.

Books and e-books. These are now available to purchase, although at this stage, the books are only available to Australian customers. My apologies to the rest of the world!

Recently Added

9th August, 2011: As you can see, this site is going through another change. Hopefully, the layout and navigation will be a lot easier than before.

Added 20th November, 2010: New Sermon Series called War Zone. This series focuses on the subject of spiritual warfare.

9th November: Yes!!! It's taken me a lot of hours, but the entire site has been converted over to the new format. Hope you like the new look. I don't think I've missed anything, but if you come across something that doesn't look quite right, please let me know.

Added 6th October, 2010: All the sections for Sermon Illustrations have now been completed. Hallelujah! Of course, I may add more categories, and I'll be continually adding more illustrations to the existing categories.

Added 6th October, 2010: The sermon illustrations for S have now been added. Also, I've added a new kind of Gospel Sermon Outline called a Life Talk. Hope you like it.

Added 29th September, 2010: We've just added two more messages in the series on the book of James.

Added 27th September, 2010: Hope you like the new links in the Sermon Illustrations. You no longer have to guess if a topic is covered, nor do you have to scroll down to the topic heading. Just click on the category and it taks you straight there.

Added 23rd August, 2010: At long last, the next instalment in the Expository Sermon Outlines for the Book of James has just been added.

Added 19th August, 2010: We've just added some new communion messages. Hope you like them.

Added 5th June, 2010: Sermon illustrations are now available through to the letter R. The goal is that once I've finished the alphabet, I'll just keep adding more illustrations and more topics.

Added 2nd May, 2010: The first of our Expository Bible Studies. There are twelve studies on the book of James.

Added 7th April, 2010: We've just added a bunch of Bible Studies.

Added 4th April, 2010: Sermon Illustrations for topics beginning with O have now been included. We're more than half-way through. And once we've finished the alphabet, we'll be looking to continually add more illustrations so you'll have an increasingly valuable resource. Also, we've just added our first audio sermon. Check it out.

Added 28th March, 2010: Successful Songwriting is now fully downloadable as an e-Book for under $10.
